| Once
upon a time WorldCountries.info was just a big house with a room
for each country with nothing in the room but a map, a flag, and
a few dry facts from public domain sources. Yet now many of those
rooms are alive with the voices of the people who live
there, showing the world what their special place on earth has
to offer. We have made a few friends along the way and made some
remarkable discoveries. This is where we say thanks to those who
have helped make our site possible! |
AtlasTours.net
is the creation of Jordanian
web designer Adeeb
Rantawi and makes for a fascinating read
if you are interested in the Middle East or archaeology
in general. The site exists to promote their tour service,
of course, but most travel sites are too eager to get in
your pocket to bother publishing the kind of insightful,
well written articles you will find here. They cover Jordan,
Lebanon, the Holy Land, Syria, Iraq, and the Egyptian Sinai.
The site is easy to navigate and offers the reader dozens
of stunning photos. They also cover the practical side of
visiting each country: entry requirements, emergency phone
numbers, tipping practices, and much more. AtlasTours.net
was the first web site to contribute an article to WorldCountries.info.

Visit-Chile.Org
is maintained
by the Chilean Tourism Promotion Corporation
and equals the national web site of any country on earth,
and we know because we have seen them all. Our special thanks
to Sigñor Pablo Retamal,
Director of Tourism, for sending us a fantastic CD of photos
which literally take you there to this enchanting
country of truly awe inspiring natural wonders. When we
received it, we knew this web site would be a success. Take

France-Guide.com
has been very kind to WorldCountries.info
in providing materials for our feature article about France
and in working with us to test a new advertising technology
which is now available for our use, and theirs, in the future.
The Maison de la France
web site is one in which France may take great pride for
its outstanding information about anything concerning France,
its updated calendar of events, and, of course, its travel
specials to France! Thanks in particular to Louise
O'Brien, Media Relations Manager, and to
Gilles Charmant
of the Maison de la France New Technology Department. Take

Brian
Lai is a very talented
photographer in Taiwan we ran across while surfing for information
on that country. We publish only the best photos, and sometimes
they come from people who simply love what they do and are good
at it. His photos of Taiwan brought the article to life, and we
highly recommend you see more of them... Take
a look at
Brian-Lai.com.
He does not take photos "of"
things. You seem to be experiencing them. |
Check back. We will be updating this page frequently...
